
Barbara Morgan Gardner
Barbara Morgan Gardner is an associate professor of Church History and Doctrine at Brigham Young University. Her research focuses on women in religious leadership, international education in Latin America, and religious pedagogy. She authored The Priesthood Power of Women in the Temple, Church, and Family and co-hosted BYUtv's Come Follow Up series (2019-2021). She holds a PhD in instructional psychology, a master's degree in educational leadership and foundations with emphasis in international education development, and completed postdoctoral work at Harvard University in higher education administration. She served as institute director for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Boston, including chaplaincy at Harvard and MIT, and continues as chaplain-at-large in higher education for the LDS Church. She serves on the BYU Interfaith Outreach Council. She was born and raised in Salem, Oregon and resides in Highland, Utah.
