Terms & Conditions
Payment
All prices listed are based on double occupancy. Single, triple, and quad pricing varies by trip.
Payment terms: A per-person deposit is required to secure your spot at registration (the amount varies by trip). The balance is due at least 90 days before the tour departure date. Bookings made within 90 days of departure must include full payment.
Cancellations
To cancel, you must notify us in writing (by email).
Deposits are refundable up until final payment, less a $50 per-person cancellation penalty. After final payment, all payments are non-refundable. This applies to all trips — land tours and cruises alike. Where a cancellation involves non-refundable third-party costs (such as flights or hotels booked on your behalf), additional fees may apply to cover them.
If Bountiful Travel cancels a trip: we will refund all deposits and payments — except when a trip is cancelled due to a pandemic or civil unrest, in which case the deposit is non-refundable but transferable to a future trip, and the balance is refunded.
No changes can be made to a booking within 30 days of the departure date, including name changes.
We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to help protect against loss of your travel expenses due to cancellations.
Airfare
Unless otherwise stated, roundtrip airfare is not included in the price of the tour. We recommend you wait to book your flights until the tour/cruise departure has been guaranteed to operate (usually about 4 months in advance). Bountiful Travel does not arrange flights; however, we can refer you to an agency that books flights, or you are welcome to make your own airfare arrangements.
Trip Cancellation / Interruption Insurance
Trip cancellation/interruption insurance is not part of the tour package; however, it is recommended. Trip cancellation insurance is the best way to insure against unforeseen events that may cause you to cancel your tour. It also includes medical coverage, which may be needed if your medical coverage does not cover incidents outside of the United States.
Personal Activities and Expenses
You are responsible for all personal expenses incurred during the trip, such as passport fees, airport departure taxes, border taxes, laundry, beverages (except those during meals), room service, telephone calls, excess baggage fees, and any other expenses not specifically covered in the price of the tour.
Passport Requirements
A valid passport is required to travel with Bountiful Travel on our international tours. Your passport must not expire within six months following the return of your tour or cruise. Passports are currently taking up to 3 months to process.
Luggage Requirements
Luggage is subject to charges depending on airline policy. Luggage allowance is based upon the cruise or tour you are booked on. Typically you will be allowed one large piece and a carry-on.
Excursion Booking Requirements | Physical Ability Considerations
Bountiful Travel is dedicated to ensuring a safe and enjoyable experience for all our guests. To participate in shore excursions, guests must adhere to the following requirements:
- Physical ability: Guests booking shore excursions must be able to walk 2–5 miles per day unassisted for general cruises, and 4–7 miles per day unassisted for Israel and Mediterranean cruises.
- Mobility aid use: Due to the nature of the activities involved in certain shore excursions, guests who rely on walkers, canes, wheelchairs, or other mobility aids may not be eligible to participate in these specific excursions. However, a wide range of cruise experiences remain accessible to all our guests.
- Responsibility: Guests are responsible for assessing their own ability to meet these physical requirements. For the safety and enjoyment of all participants, it is crucial that this information is accurately provided at the time of booking.
- Minimum age: For most Bountiful Travel tours and cruises, guests need to be 8 years of age. If the cruise/tour is advertised as a “Family” tour, the minimum age is 5 years old. On cruises, you are welcome to bring children under 5, but they must be 5 years old to participate in the excursions.
These requirements are designed to ensure that all guests can fully enjoy their shore excursion experiences with us. For further information or assistance, please contact our Bountiful Travel team.
Liability Disclaimer
Bountiful Travel, its employees, and its agents shall not be liable or responsible for any loss, injury, inconvenience, illness, death, or damage incurred or sustained during the tour. You agree to voluntarily participate in the tour at your own risk. Without limitation or waiver by Bountiful Travel, you expressly agree to hold Bountiful Travel, its employees, and its agents harmless from any loss, injury, inconvenience, illness, death, or damage incurred or sustained from any of the following events or incidents: strikes, revolts, wars, riots, insurrections, criminal acts, natural disasters, closures of airports or hotels, acts of governments or other authorities, theft, pilferage, epidemic, quarantines, customs regulations, or improper passports, visas, or other documents.
Tour Pricing and Itinerary Changes
Bountiful Travel reserves the right to cancel the tour in the event of insufficient tour reservations (we must have a minimum of 20 people on the trip to operate the tour). We will do everything we can to avoid canceling a tour, and we will refund in the event that we have to cancel due to not meeting the minimum number of people.
Bountiful Travel also reserves the right to alter the dates or itineraries of the tour at its discretion. Some of the reasons may include, but are not limited to, the unavailability of air flights or hotel spaces, tour leader change in schedule, increase of prices by vendors, closed sites, or any other reason deemed necessary and appropriate by Bountiful Travel.
