  • $2380 per person based on double occupancy if paying by credit/debit card.
  • $80 per person discount if paying with cash/check.

Tips

  • Tips are included on this tour.
  • Tips are not collected in advance for any tour extensions, such as Jordan or Egypt. We recommend $4-$5 per day for the guide and $2-$3 per day for the driver on those tours.

Payment Schedule

  • $250 per person due at time of booking (deposit is non-refundable – it can be transferred to another person on the same tour date. We will attempt to find someone to take your spot if you cancel but we cannot guarantee it).
  • Final Payment: Final payment is due three months before the tour departure date.

Cancellation Policy

  • To cancel, you must notify us in writing (by email). Additional fees may be assessed to cover non-refundable bookings such as flights and hotels. There is no refund for cancellations received less than 90 days prior to departure of the tour.

    1. If you cancel before final payment due date: Deposit is refundable or transferable as long as we (or you) can fill your spots. After final payment, the full amount is non-refundable and non-transferable.
    2. If Bountiful Travel cancels the tour: We will refund all deposits and any other payments unless the tour is canceled due to a pandemic or civil unrest.
    3. If Bountiful Travel cancels due to a pandemic or civil unrest: The deposit is non-refundable. However, the deposit is transferable to a future tour. The balance will be refunded.
    4. No changes can be made to land tour bookings within 30 days of tour departure date, including name changes. 

              Bountiful Travel recommends the purchase of travel insurance to help avoid loss of your travel expenses due to cancellations. 

Check Your Invoice Names: Please check to see that your names are spelled correctly. Your first and last names must appear as they appear on your passport for International travel and Driver’s License for domestic tours.

COVID: Tests and Vaccines are NOT currently required to enter Israel. 

PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED and must be valid 6 months after the end of the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this tour you must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace.

Price: $995 when paying by check or $1025 when paying by credit card (Price does not include one-way flight to Tel Aviv from Rome)

Day 1 – May 13, 2026: Depart the U.S. on your flight to Rome (FCO).

Day 2 – May 14, 2026: Arrive in Rome and take the free hotel shuttle to the hotel. We are picked up from our hotel and taken to the Rome, Italy temple. Time permitting, everyone in the group explores the Visitors’ Center and temple grounds. There are limited seats available for the endowment session. You need to make your own endowment, sealing or initiatory appointment. Sign up for the 3:45 pm session or the 4:00 pm appointments for sealing & initiatory.

Day 3 – May 15, 2026: Our “Best of Rome” tour takes us to the Vatican City Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. We have time on our own to find a delicious lunch and soak in the city. We visit the Colosseum and then enjoy dinner together. An authentic Italian dinner is included.

Day 4 – May 16, 2026: Today we load our luggage on the bus and head to the center of Rome. We have a walking tour which includes the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square and if we can get entrance tickets, the Pantheon. Following our tour, we board our bus for transport to the Flumicino airport and our flight to Israel.

Day 1 : Depart Home

If you did not join us on the optional Rome pre-tour, depart for Israel. Flights from US in the morning.

Day 2 : Arrive in Tel Aviv

May 16, 2026 (Saturday)

Arrive in Israel and relax in hotel, on the beach in Herod's Tel Aviv.

Day 3 : Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth Village

May 17, 2026 (Sunday)

Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Church of Annunciation, Synagogue Church, Nazareth Village, Nazareth Precipice, drive to hotel in Galilee.

Day 4 : Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi

May 18, 2026 (Monday)

Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, back to hotel in Galilee.

Day 5 : Magdala, Sea of Galilee, Dead Sea

May 19, 2026 (Tuesday)

Valley of the Doves, Magdala, Katsrin Village, Galilee boat ride, Bet She'an, Hotel: David Dead Sea Resort & Spa (Float in the Dead Sea).

Day 6 : Masada, Qumran

We do not arrange group airfare since usually it is considerably more expensive to do so. We are flexible on flights and we will give you an arrival time for when you should arrive in Tel Aviv. Flights are usually around $1,500-$1700 out of SLC.

TYLER GRIFFIN is currently an instructor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at BYU. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and, after marrying an Angel named Kiplin Crook, he began teaching seminary in Brigham City, Utah. He then began teaching at the Institute adjacent to Utah State University. One of his assignments there was working in the Seminary Preservice program (teaching and training potential seminary teachers). While there, he developed an online home study seminary program. His masters and doctorate degrees are both in Instructional Technology. He loves designing and developing digitally immersive tools for helping people understand the scriptures better.
