  • $2580 per person based on double occupancy.

Tips

  • Tips are not included on this tour. They will be invoiced with your final payment.
  • Tips are not collected in advance for any tour extensions, such as Jordan or Egypt. We recommend $4-$5 per day for the guide and $2-$3 per day for the driver on those tours.

Payment Schedule

  • $250 per person due at time of booking (deposit is non-refundable – it can be transferred to another person on the same tour date. We will attempt to find someone to take your spot if you cancel but we cannot guarantee it).
  • Final Payment: Final payment is due three months before the tour departure date.

  • Deposits may be refunded or transferred only if we are able to fill the cancelled spot.
  • If the spot is filled, the deposit may be:
    • Refunded, or
    • Transferred as a credit to a future tour.

  • Deposits are non-refundable.
  • Deposit credit may be transferred to a future tour only if we are able to fill the cancelled spot.

30 Days to 3 Months Prior to Tour

  • Tour costs are non-refundable.
  • Deposit credit may be transferred to a new participant for the same tour, subject to our approval.

30 Days or Less Prior to Tour (Including Tour Start Date)

  • All tour costs are non-refundable and non-transferable.

Travel Insurance Recommendation

We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance to protect against loss of non-refundable tour costs in the event you need to cancel your trip.

COVID: Tests and Vaccines are NOT currently required to enter Israel.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this tour you must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace.

Join us for an optional 2-night pre-tour in Rome.

Price: $TBD per person, based on double occupancy (Price does not include one-way flight to Tel Aviv from Rome)

Day 1 – May 3, 2027: Depart the U.S. on your flight to Rome (FCO).

Day 2 – May 4, 2027: Arrive in Rome and take the free hotel shuttle to the hotel. We are picked up from our hotel and taken to the Rome, Italy temple. Time permitting, everyone in the group explores the Visitors’ Center and temple grounds. There are limited seats available for the endowment session. You need to make your own endowment, sealing or initiatory appointment. Sign up for the 3:45 pm session or the 4:00 pm appointments for sealing & initiatory.

Day 3 – May 5, 2027: Our “Best of Rome” tour takes us to the Vatican City Museum, the Sistine Chapel and St. Peter’s Basilica. We have time on our own to find a delicious lunch and soak in the city. We visit the Colosseum and then enjoy dinner together. An authentic Italian dinner is included.

Day 4 – May 6, 2027: Today we load our luggage on the bus and head to the center of Rome. We have a walking tour which includes the Spanish Steps, Trevi Fountain, Navona Square and if we can get entrance tickets, the Pantheon. Following our tour, we board our bus for transport to the Flumicino airport and our flight to Israel.

Day 1 : Depart Home

May 5, 2027 (Wednesday)

If you did not join us on the optional Rome pre-tour, depart for Israel. Flights from US in the morning.

Day 2 : Arrive in Tel Aviv

May 6, 2027 (Thursday)

Arrive in Israel and relax in hotel, on the beach in Herod's Tel Aviv.

Day 3 : Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth Village

May 7, 2027 (Friday)

Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Church of Annunciation, Synagogue Church, Nazareth Village, Nazareth Precipice, drive to hotel in Galilee.

Day 4 : Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi

May 8, 2027 (Saturday)

Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, back to hotel in Galilee.

Day 5 : Magdala, Sea of Galilee, Dead Sea

May 9, 2027 (Sunday)

Valley of the Doves, Magdala, Katsrin Village, Galilee boat ride, Bet She'an, Hotel: David Dead Sea Resort & Spa (Float in the Dead Sea).

Day 6 : Masada, Qumran

Masada, Qumran, traditional baptism site, Jimmy's olive wood shop, Wadi Qelt overlook, Stay at Grand Court Hotel

Day 7 : Bethlehem, Shabbat

Day 8 : Western Wall, Temple Mount, Davidson Archaeological Park, Old City

May 12, 2027 (Wednesday)

Western Wall Plaza, Davidson Archeological Park, Temple Mount, Hezekiah's Tunnel, free time for optional activities (Roof of Austrian Hospice, Yad Vashem, Western Wall Tunnel tour, Ramparts walk, Bible Lands Museum, Old City shopping). : walk to the Western Wall for welcoming in Shabbat.

Day 9 : Gethsemane- Jerusalem Center Tour, Hezekiah's tunnel

Orson Hyde Park (7:00am), Grotto of Gethsemane (8am), Garden of Gethsemane & Church of all Nations (8:30), BYU Jerusalem Center for a tour of the Center, City Overlook Restaurant for lunch, Jerusalem Overlook, Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Hezekiah's tunnel

Day 10 : Garden Tomb, Old City, Flight Home

May 14, 2027 (Friday)

Garden Tomb, free time for optional activities (Roof of Austrian Hospice, Yad Vashem, Western Wall Tunnel tour, Ramparts walk, Old City shopping), dinner on way to the airport, fly out this evening. Those going to Jordan will travel to the Red Sea at noon.

TYLER GRIFFIN is currently an instructor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at BYU. He received his Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and, after marrying an Angel named Kiplin Crook, he began teaching seminary in Brigham City, Utah. He then began teaching at the Institute adjacent to Utah State University. One of his assignments there was working in the Seminary Preservice program (teaching and training potential seminary teachers). While there, he developed an online home study seminary program. His masters and doctorate degrees are both in Instructional Technology. He loves designing and developing digitally immersive tools for helping people understand the scriptures better.
