Main trip
Day 1 · ✈ Travel · Depart Home
If you did not join us on the optional Rome pre-tour, depart for Israel. Flights from US in the morning.
Day 2 : Arrive in Tel Aviv
Arrive in Israel and relax in hotel on beach in Herod's Tel Aviv
Day 3 : Caesarea, Mt. Carmel, Nazareth Village
Caesarea Maritima, Mount Carmel, Church of Annunciation, Synagogue Church, Nazareth Village, Nazareth Precipice, drive to hotel in Galilee.
Day 4 : Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi
Capernaum, Mount of Beatitudes, Caesarea Philippi, back to hotel in Galilee.
Day 5 : Magdala, Sea of Galilee, Dead Sea
Valley of the Doves, Magdala, Katsrin Village, Galilee boat ride, Bet She'an, Hotel: David Dead Sea Resort & Spa (Float in the Dead Sea).
Day 6 : Masada, Qumran
Masada, Qumran, traditional baptism site, Jimmy's olive wood shop, Wadi Qelt overlook, Stay at Grand Court Hotel
Day 7 : Bethlehem, Shabbat
Israel Museum, Bethlehem (Church of the Nativity, Shepherds fields), St. Peter in Gallicantu, optional evening activity Stay at the Grand Court Hotel.
Day 8 : Western Wall, Temple Mount, Old City
Western Wall Plaza, Davidson Archeological Park, Temple Mount, Hezekiah's Tunnel, free time for optional activities (Roof of Austrian Hospice, Yad Vashem, Western Wall Tunnel tour, Ramparts walk, Bible Lands Museum, Old City shopping). : walk to the Western Wall for welcoming in Shabbat.
Day 9 : Gethsemane, Jerusalem Center Tour, Hezekiah's Tunnel
Orson Hyde Park (7:00am), Grotto of Gethsemane (8am), Garden of Gethsemane & Church of all Nations (8:30), BYU Jerusalem Center for a tour of the Center, City Overlook Restaurant for lunch, Jerusalem Overlook, Pool of Bethesda, Via Dolorosa, Hezekiah's tunnel
Day 10 : Garden Tomb, Old City, Flight Home
Garden Tomb, free time for optional activities (Roof of Austrian Hospice, Yad Vashem, Western Wall Tunnel tour, Ramparts walk, Old City shopping), dinner on way to the airport, fly out this evening. Those going to Jordan will travel to the Red Sea at noon.

Guests are responsible for arranging their own airfare to the tour’s starting destination and home from its ending destination. Airfare is not included in the trip price.

Tyler Griffin
Tyler Griffin is currently an instructor in the Department of Ancient Scripture at BYU. He received his Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering and began teaching seminary in Brigham City, Utah after marrying. He then taught at the Institute adjacent to Utah State University, where he worked in the Seminary Preservice program and developed an online home study seminary program. His master's and doctorate degrees are both in Instructional Technology. He focuses on designing digitally immersive tools for scripture understanding.
