You will be guided by Scott and an incredible Egyptian guide. You will see the following unforgettable sites as we stay in 4- and 5-star hotels. You will also enjoy a 5-star experience on a Nile River Cruise.
Combine this tour with Brent Top's or Camille Fronk Olson's 3.12.27 Israel Tour. Be aware Camille Fronk Olson will not be accompanying the group to Egypt. Brent Top will be with the group in Egypt.
Main trip
Day 1 · ✈ Travel · Depart from Home
If you did not sign up with Bountiful Travel for Brent Top's or Camille Fronk Olson's Israel tour, depart from the US to Cairo.
Day 2 : Arrive in Egypt
Arrive in Cairo. We will be met at the airport and driven to our hotel where we can relax and enjoy our evening on our own. Overnight in Cairo.
Day 3 : Fly to Luxor - 3-day Nile Cruise - East Bank
We check out of our Cairo hotel and head to the airport for our flight to Luxor and our 3-day Nile River cruise. We board our vessel for our luxurious cruise. Lunch is onboard the ship. We see both the Karnak and the Luxor Temples on the East Bank before returning to our cruise ship. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)
Day 4 : West Bank Sightseeing
We head to the West Bank and see the Valley of the Kings, the Temple of Queen Hatshepsut and the Colossi of Memnon. We have some free time in Luxor for shopping, before we return to our boat for dinner. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)
Day 5 : Kom Ombo - Edfu - Nile Cruise
We continue our cruise. We visit Edfu. There we find the most complete temple in Egypt. We reboard our ship and sail to Kom Ombo to visit the only double temple in Egypt, which is dedicated to Horus the falcon and Sobek the crocodile. Overnight onboard. (B, L, D)
Day 6 : Aswan
We spend the day exploring Aswan. We visit the massive unfinished obelisk. We also visit the Temple of Philae, devoted to the goddesses Isis and Hathor. Following these visits, we return to our cruise ship. Overnight onboard (B,L,D)
Day 7 : Abu Simbel - Fly to Cairo
We enjoy a final breakfast onboard and then we disembark. Before leaving for the Aswan Airport we visit Abu Simbel home of the temples of Ramses II and Queen Nefertari. We transfer to the Aswan Airport for our flight back to Cairo. In Cairo we are transferred to our hotel and we have the evening to ourselves. Overnight in Cairo. (B,L)
Day 8 · ✈ Travel · Pyramids of Giza - Grand Egyptian Museum
Today we head to the Giza Plateau and marvel at one of the Seven Wonders of the Worlds, the Great Pyramids of Giza. We visit the Sphinx and Valley Temple. Following lunch, we go to the Grand Egyptian Museum. The museum houses the archaeological finds from the Giza area. Following these experiences, we head to the Cairo airport for our late evening flights home. (B,L)
Day 9 · ✈ Travel · Arrive Home
Arrive home
Hotels & Nile cruise: Triumph Luxury Hotel – Cairo, Iberotel Crown Empress Nile Cruise (or similar), and Hilton Pyramids Hotel – Cairo.
Gratuities: Tips beyond your guide & driver aren’t included — we suggest bringing at least $50 in $1’s and $5’s.

Brent L. Top
Brent L. Top is Professor Emeritus of Church History & Doctrine at Brigham Young University and former Dean of Religious Education. In his thirty-five years on the Religion faculty at BYU, Brent has authored or co-authored more than 20 books and numerous articles on doctrinal, scriptural, historical, and sociological subjects. He taught Old and New Testament at the BYU Jerusalem Center for Near-Eastern Studies and has led numerous Holy Land tours.
