Overnight in Quebec City
Pre-cruise Day 2 : Quebec City - Cruise Ship
A day in the only walled city north of Mexico. We wander the historic Upper and Lower Towns beneath the landmark Chateau Frontenac, walk the ramparts above the St. Lawrence, and explore the lanes of the Petit-Champlain quarter before boarding our ship.
Main trip
Day 1 : Quebec City, Quebec, Canada
If you are not joining us on the pre-cruise tour, meet up with us onboard the ship.
Day 2 : La Baie, Saguenay River, Canada
Saguenay is a city and a fjord with lots of natural wonders to explore. You can admire the fjord and if we are there at the right time, you might be able to enjoy some blueberries. Tour details will be posted, when they are available. Tour Price: TBA
Day 3 : At Sea
Enjoy seminars at sea.
Day 4 : Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island
We explore as much of Prince Edward Island as we can. We walk the streets of Charlottetown and learn of her history. We see mussel and oyster farms as we journey to Prince Edward Island National Park where we enjoy a short stop at the beach. We visit Cavendish and the Green Gable Heritage Place which includes the home that is the setting for the famous Anne of Green Gables movies. If time permits we have some time to shop at the PEI Preserve company. Price: TBA
Day 5 : Sydney, Cape Breton, Nova Scotia, Canada
Today's explorations might include the scenic and fascinating Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site. Here we learn of the many experiments and achievements of Alexander Graham Bell. We see his home, but it is not a part of the actual site. The focus of this site is his exploits while living in the village of Baddeck. The beautiful scenery inspires us as we eat lunch before taking a scenic, 1-hour drive to visit a Highland Village. Experience the old ways as we explore this living history museum. We will wish we had more time to spend here as all too soon we board our bus for the drive back to your ship.
Day 6 : Halifax, Nova Scotia
Halifax has a rich history. We stroll the Victorian Public Garden, drive around the Citadel Fortress, pass historic homes, and stop at the Titanic Cemetery, the final resting place for many who lost their lives on the Titanic. No visit is complete without the fishing village of Peggy's Cove — we feel the sea breeze along its sidewalks, examine the lighthouse, and enjoy lobster rolls or seafood chowder on our own.
Day 7 : Portland. Maine
We tour the history and highlights of Portland, Maine, including a chance to attend sacrament meeting with a local congregation. We visit the Portland Head Light, perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in the world, and stroll the oceanside paths of Fort Williams Park. On to Kennebunk and Kennebunkport, with a glimpse of the Bush family's seaside home, and time on our own for lunch and the shops before our scenic return to the ship.
Day 8 : At Sea
Enjoy seminars at sea.
Day 9 : Newport, Rhode Island
This morning we board a private trolley and journey back in time. We learn Newport's history along the Colonial downtown, hear about the many films shot here, and drive Ocean Drive past the Gilded Age mansions — the famous "summer cottages." We step inside the Breakers, one of the most opulent and stunning of these luxury homes.
Day 10 : At Sea
Enjoy seminars at sea.
Day 11 : Philadelphia, Pennsylvania - Debarkation
If you are not joining us for our post-cruise tour of Philadelphia, Make your own way to the airport for your flight home.

Norwegian Cruise Line · Norwegian Pearl

The Norwegian Pearl pairs the range of a large ship with the easy-to-navigate feel of a smaller one — fewer than 2,400 guests across 13 decks. Options run from the two-story Summer Palace dining room to specialty venues like Cagney's Steakhouse, Le Bistro, and La Cucina, plus the casual Great Outdoors buffet overlooking the wake. Evenings bring production shows in the two-level Stardust Theater and live music in the Spinnaker Lounge, an observation lounge with floor-to-ceiling windows at the bow. By day: pools and hot tubs, a jogging track, a sports court, the Mandara Spa with its thermal suite — and, distinctively, a full bowling alley. Its size makes it easy to gather our group, settle into good conversation, and get to know fellow travelers as the voyage unfolds.
