Africa Safari Adventure

We begin to explore the sights of Nairobi. There is much to see here. We go to the Karen Blixen Museum, home of the author of "Out of Africa." We visit the Giraffe Center and the Elephant Orphanage. Overnight in Nairobi.(B,L,D)

Today we go on our first game safari. We head into Nairobi National Park which we have only seen from our hotel. We enjoy spotting the amazing giraffes, zebras, rhinos and so forth. We visit the Kenya Temple grounds and learn more about the church in Kenya. We enjoy dinner together. Overnight in Nairobi. (B,L,D)

We leave the bustling Nairobi behind. We load our bags, hop in our safari cruisers and drive to Lake Naivasha. Here we take a short boat ride to see the hippos. We visit Crescent Island and get to walk with the wild animals. We drive to our lodgings on Lake Nukuru. (B,L,D)

We spend the day on safari in Lake Nakuru National Park. The scenery is stunning and the animals abound. We have time in the afternoon to enjoy our lodge before heading out on another game drive. We overnight at Lake Nukuru. (B,L,D)

This morning we pack our bags and head to the Masai Mara Game Reserve. It is quite a trek, but we are there in time for lunch. After lunch we head out on afternoon game drive. Nothing quite prepares you for this breathtaking experience. We spend the evening relaxing at our accommodations in the Masai Mara. (B,L,D)

Today is filled with more game drive adventures. We have both a morning and an afternoon drive. You will be closer to these animals then you ever imagined. Those who are interested may pay an additional fee and get up early for a hot air balloon ride which shows you the animals from above. For many, the hot air balloon ride is the highlight of the trip. Today we leave the Mara behind and fly to Mombasa.  We admire the vibrant, narrow streets of Mombasa and the captivating architecture on our way to our beachfront hotel. We overnight in Mombasa. (B,L,D)

We enjoy a half-day tour of Mombasa. We visit Fort Jesus and learn about the history of the area. We visit local wood carvers and see how those amazing carvings are created. The afternoon is ours to explore our resort. Enjoy the beach and swimming pools or just relax. We overnight in Mombasa. (B,L,D)

Today we bid farewell to our beloved Kenya. We board a flight to Nairobi. We are taken to the international airport where we catch our late night flights home.
