Jennifer Ann Mackley is the co-founder and Executive Director of the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project, with the goal of digitizing, transcribing, and publishing all of Wilford Woodruff’s records online at wilfordwoodruffpapers.org so they are universally accessible. Her hope in sharing his records is to present the restoration of the gospel through the experiences of one who was a witness to the process and inspire others to increase their faith in Jesus Christ.
Jennifer is married to Carter Mackley and they have three miraculous children. Both Jennifer and Carter graduated from BYU before pursuing law degrees. They then formed the law firm Mackley & Mackley in Seattle, Washington where they raised their children. In addition to her legal practice, Jennifer has authored or edited 21 books including Wilford Woodruff’s Witness: The Development of Temple Doctrine and Desarrollo de la doctrina del templo: Testimonio de Wilford Woodruff. She has made numerous presentations and podcasts based on her 30 years of research on Wilford Woodruff’s life and records with a focus on temple doctrine in the nineteenth century.
