Tips

  • We collect pre-paid tips in advance of $150 per person for the local guide and driver in both Israel and Jordan. You will need to tip hotel baggage porters if they take your luggage for you ($1 per bag). We are often asked about tipping the LDS tour director. Tips for the LDS guide are appreciated but not required.

Payment Schedule

  • $250 per person due at time of booking (deposit is non-refundable – it can be transferred to another new booking on the same tour date. We will attempt to find someone to take your spot if you cancel but we cannot guarantee it).
  • Final Payment: Final payment is due three months before the tour departure date.

Cancellation Policy

  • If you cancel: Deposit is non-refundable; however, it is transferable to another guest on a new booking, traveling on the same tour date. After final payment, the full amount is non-refundable. If you cancel and you can find someone to take your spot, we will refund the deposit. If we have a waiting list and can fill your spot, we will refund your deposit by placing someone in your spot.
  • If we cancel the tour due to pandemic or security issues: Deposit is non-refundable; however, it can be transferred to any other tour or kept as a future tour credit to be used at any time on one of our advertised tours (cannot be transferred to a cruise). The balance will be refunded or applied to a future tour as a credit.
  • Cancellations after Final Payment: Cancellations within 90 days of the tour are completely non-refundable.
  • The only way to avoid trip cancellation penalties is to buy trip cancellation insurance. If you are interested in the insurance, we can help you purchase it.

COVID: Israel is currently not requiring tests or vaccines to enter Israel.

PASSPORTS ARE REQUIRED and must be valid 6 months after the end of the tour.

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this tour you must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace. You will be walking 4-7 miles per day.

Day 1 : Depart Home

Flight from USA to TLV

Day 2 : Arrive in Tel Aviv

October 18, 2025 (Saturday)

Arrive in Israel After checking into the hotel, you will have free time on the beach/boardwalk. (Herods Tel Aviv Hotel)

Day 3 : Tel Megiddo - Nazareth - Mount Tabor

October 19, 2025 (Sunday)

You will start out the day visiting Tel Megiddo as well as a stone tomb near Megiddo. Your next visit will be Nazareth, where you will see life depicted in the first century. Following you will visit the Church of Anunciation in Nazareth, where it is believed Gabriel visited Mary. Following our visit to the Church, you will visit Mount Precipice/Nazareth Overlook. This would be the traditional locations where the people of Nazareth tried to stone Jesus. Time permitting, you will visit Mount Tabor, the traditional mount of transfiguration. (Ein Gev Hotel)

Day 5 : Sea of Galilee - Magdala - Capernaum - Mount of Beatitudes

October 20, 2025 (Monday)

This day you will spend around th ecoasts of the Sea of Galilee with visits to Capernaum, the Mount of Beatitudes and Magdala. In the afternoon, you will go for a boat ride on the Sea of Galilee where you can also see a 1st century "Jesus Boat". In the evening, you can hike the Valley of the Doves for those interested. Return to Ein Gev Hotel for evening

Day 4 : Bethsaida - Katzrin Village - Tel Dan - Caesarea Philippi

October 21, 2025 (Tuesday)

Bethsaida - New archeological site where Peter and Andrew were born just on the north side of the Galilee Katzrin village - Olive press, grape press, recreated stone home and village Today the tour will take you to the northern boundaries of both ancient and modern Israel to the sites of Caesarea Philippi, where Peter declared Jesus to be the Son of God and was promised keys to the Kingdom. You will then visit Tel Dan and Tel Hazor (time permitting). Return to Ein Gev Hotel for evening

Day 6 : Bethabara - Jordan - Jericho Overlook (Wadi Qelt) - Jordan River (Bethabara) - Dead Sea Swim

October 22, 2025 (Wednesday)

This morning after checking of of the hotel, you will make your way to Jerusalem. The first stop on your way will be the traditional baptismal site of Jesus. You will then go to Jericho for lunch option. As you ascend into Jerusalem, you will stop at Wadi Qelt, an are where Jesus fasted and the path of the Good Samaritan between Jericho and Jerusalem. You will start your Jerusalem tour at the Israeli Museum and Palatial mansion. Check into your hotel (Olive Tree)

Day 7 : Temple Mount - City of David

October 23, 2025 (Thursday)

You will have an early morning wakeup to get in line to explore the Temple Mount. After coming down from the Mount, you will go to the Pool of Bethesda and St. Anne's Church. You will then proceed to the Eastern wall of Temple mount (muslim cemetery) on your way to the City of David (David’s palace, Hezekiah’s tunnel, Pool of Siloam, David’s tomb, pilgrimage road) Before returning to the hotel, you will visit the Southern Steps excavation (Davidson Center) and the Kotel Tunnel. Day 8 : Garden Tomb & Golgotha - Western Wall

October 24, 2025 (Friday)

Today you will continue your visit of Jerusalem by visiting the Garden Tomb, a possible location for Golgotha and the burial of Christ. You will visit the traditional Last Supper Room with King David’s tomb In the afternoon, you will visit Gallicantu, which is believed to be the Palace and of the High Priest, Caiaphas. You will conclude your day with a visit to the Praetorium gate through the Via Dolorosa, Herod’s Palace pool, and the Church of the Holy Sepulcher (believed by most of the Christian world to be the location of Golgotha) Time permitting, you will visit the Lutheran Church of the Redeemer. Day 9 : Jerusalem - Mount of Olives - Garden of Gethsemane - Orson Hyde - Tombs

October 25, 2025 (Saturday)

You will start your morning at Gethsemane and the Orson Hyde park before going to Church services at the Jerusalem Center You will go to the toop of the Mount of Olives overlook, walking through the Jewish cemetery on the way to the Church of All Nations. Time permitting you will visit Absalom's Tomb and Zecharias' Tomb. (Olive Tree Hotel)

Day 10 : Hebron - Bethlehem - Bethany

October 26, 2025 (Sunday)

You will leave Jerusalem today and head to the West Bank where you will visit sites like Hebron - Tomb of the Patriarchs, Mamre (campsite of Abraham), Solomon’s Pools (Three massive pools built by Herod), Bethlehem (Church of the Nativity, shepherd’s field and cave) and Bethany (Tomb of Lazarus). Day 10 : Qumran - Masada

October 27, 2025 (Monday)

After checking out of the hotel, you will head towards the Red Sea on your way to Jordan. You will visit Qumran, where the Dead Sea Scrolls were discovered. You will then float in the Dead Sea (if you don't go earlier in the week). Then you will go to Masada before driving south to the Red Sea border crossing into Jordan. Transfer to Jordan/Red Sea border. (Intercontinental Hotel)

Day 11 : Wadi Rum - Red Sea

October 28, 2025 (Tuesday)

The morning begins with a pickup ride through the Wadi Rum desert. The scenery is surreal and the site of many movies, ranging from Lawrence of Arabia to the most recent Star Wars moving. After returning from the desert, you will have free time to enjoy shopping, swimming, snorkeling or just relaxing on the beach. The hotel is right on the beach. Or you can also try out the world class snorkeling in the Red Sea. For about $30 you can grab a shuttle to the reef where snorkel gear is included (paid for at the hotel). (Intercontinental Hotel)

Day 12 : Flight Home

October 29, 2025 (Wednesday)

Today we will leave our amazing resort on the Red Sea around 9:00 AM to visit the amazing site of Petra. Petra is a historical and archaeological city in the Jordanian governorate of Ma’an that is famous for its rock-cut architecture and water conduit system. It was made famous from the Indiana Jones movie. Petra was established sometime around the 6th century BC as the capital city of the Nabataeans. It is a symbol of Jordan as well as its most visited tourist attraction. We will have about 4.5 to 5 hours on site in Petra before leaving for the airport in Amman. We will arrive to the airport around 9:30 PM. Schedule your flight to depart after 11:00 PM.

Day 13 : Arrive Home

Daniel Smith is a scriptural history enthusiast whose dream in life is to help visually teach others about the scriptures and the Holy Land in a way never done before. He currently works as the lead for the ScripturePlus app and Virtual Scriptures teams for Scripture Central (formally known as Book of Mormon Central). He currently is working with his team to create the most accurate and detailed 3D model of Jerusalem at the time of Jesus. These models will be used as we tour the Holy Land. He also runs the YouTube channel called Messages of Christ with almost 50 million views and over 400,000 subscribers. His passion is teaching about Holy Week, the life of Christ, ancient temples, and the Jewish Feasts. He has recreated several ancient artifacts (including the clothing of the High Priest), hosted over 28 ancient Jewish Feasts, and blogged on numerous subjects. He has presented at various conferences and events, including Education Week, the 2016 Temple on Mount Zion Conference, firesides, and 10 youth Tabernacle camps throughout the United States.
