Headliners

New
Craig and Cheri Spjute and their 10 kids (and 10 grandchildren) have lived in Boise Idaho all their lives. They both received degrees from Ricks College and Boise State University. Craig’s post-graduate work was done at Boise State University and the University of Idaho. Craig retired after 35 years as a teacher from Seminaries and Institutes. He was a seminary principal, the director of the Boise Institute and the institute Choir Director for 24 years. Under the direction of Area leadership, Craig developed and directed The Boise Youth Spectacular (BYS) for 20 years. Each year BYS involved hundreds of young adults (as counselors and leaders) and thousands of youth (as participants). In his final years of his career, he taught and coordinated the Adapted Needs Seminary and Institute classes in Southwest Idaho. Craig & Cheri enjoy teaching together and have recently taught classes on the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. They love the youth and young adults and currently serve as Young Adult Service Mission Leaders in the Idaho Boise Mission. While directing tours for the institute choir throughout the northwest, Craig decided to expand his touring to include his love for the Scriptures and Church History. Craig and Cheri have guided tour groups to Israel, the Church History Sites, England, and Ancient American sites. Craig’s favorite trip was 2023 to Egypt, Jordan, Israel & Rome. He will never forget the Holy Land and feels drawn to return as many times as possible. Craig and Cheri love the Savior and serving with their missionaries! Obviously, they enjoy traveling…. but also boating, riding ATVs, and being with their family and friends!
