Deposit: A $250 deposit per person is required to confirm the booking. Final payment is due August 4, 2026. Deposit is refundable prior to final payment with a $50 per person cancellation penalty. Within three months of the cruise, the tours and cruise are non-refundable. Space can be recalled at anytime before the sail date so BOOK EARLY!

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this tour you must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace. You will walk 3-5 miles per day.

Join our special John Bytheway on a Book of Mormon cruise adventure. This 7-night cruise departs out of Tampa, Florida. It includes stops in Belize and Mexico. During the days on the ship, you’ll have the opportunity to attend Book of Mormon classes. You will love the private tours we offer in each stop. This is a great ship for families and fun. The lectures will bring the scriptures to life as you learn onboard the ship and on site. Bring your family on a Book of Mormon cruise as we explore the Caribbean in this amazing ship!

Join us for a 1-night pre-cruise tour and transfer, including church service.

Price $180 per person based on double-occupancy.

Day 1 – November 7: Fly into the Tampa Airport, take the free shuttle and check into our hotel.

Day 2 – November 8: We load all of our luggage onto the shuttle. We begin our day by attending Sacrament Meeting with a local ward. Our shuttle transports us to the cruise terminal where we board the cruise ship.

This does not include transportation from the ship to the airport at the end of the trip. You will need to make those arrangements yourself.

If you did not sign-up with Bountiful Travel for the 1-night pre-cruise hotel & transfer, meet up with us onboard the ship.

Day 4 : Belize City, Belize

November 11, 2026 (Wednesday)

Take an exciting speedboat ride down the New River to get to the amazing Maya ruins of Lamani. These ruins date back to the Book of Mormon time period. Climb the huge temples, search for howler monkeys or just enjoy the beautiful jungle setting. We enjoy an authentic Belizean lunch. This is a can’t-miss excursion when visiting the Western Caribbean. This tour is consistently rated very highly by our guests. Tour Price: $150 per person, lunch included

Day 5 : Cozumel, Mexico

November 12, 2026 (Thursday)

We take a ferry from Cozumel to the mainland and visit the ruins of Tulum. The Tulum Mayan ruins offer an amazing view of the Caribbean Sea and transport you back to ancient times. Our LDS guide offers many insights as we walk around the ruins. We enjoy lunch on our tour and spend time learning about those who lived here. Tour Price: TBD Lunch included.

Day 6 : Costa Maya, Mexico

November 13, 2026 (Friday)

We enjoy the jungle setting of Chacchoben and its majestic ruins. This site existed during the late Book of Mormon times. Learn how the structures and rituals of the Maya relate to the Book of Mormon and LDS beliefs. After visiting the ruins, we travel to a little Maya village where we have the opportunity to see how the Maya lived. We enjoy an amazing, traditional Maya lunch and may even join in making the corn tortillas. The Maya experience at the village has become a favorite for many guests. Tour Price: TBD, lunch included

Day 7 : Fun Day at Sea

Book of Mormon Seminars at Sea.

Day 8 : Return to Tampa, Florida

November 15, 2026 (Sunday)

Everyone will make their own way to the airport for their flights home.

Ship Information: Celebrity Summit

Celebrity Summit is a Millennium-class ship. The guest capacity is just over 2,200 people. The ship features exciting shows and a great pool deck. The ship does not have water slides or rock climbing walls, but is offers food and relaxation for all.

Headliners

New

John was born and raised in Salt Lake City, and he served his mission in the Philippines. Following his mission he attended the University of Utah, and later graduated from BYU. John is the co-host of the Follow Him podcast with Hank Smith. John has taught the Book of Mormon and the New Testament at Brigham Young University, and the BYU Salt Lake Center since 1996. In 2003, he earned a Master’s Degree in Religious Education. He is the author of more than two dozen books and CDs many of which, he says, are effective non-prescription sleep-aids. He loves to golf, write, read, and play the banjo and guitar. John is a founding member of the local chapter of the Andy Griffith Show Re-run Watchers Club, and does a spot-on impersonation of Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife. John has served as a bishop, and was recently released as a member of the Young Men’s General Advisory Council (formerly known as the General Board). John and Kim’s children have served missions in France, Iceland, Tahiti and West Virginia, and another son is currently serving in Uruguay.
