Jennifer Ann Mackley and Don Parry (co-founders of the Wilford Woodruff Papers Project) are pleased to announce a special tour that commemorates the 220th anniversary of President Wilford Woodruff’s birth (March 1, 1807). Enjoy an optional two-day pre-cruise tour of London sites significant to President Woodruff’s missionary service. You can select the optional three-day tour which adds an extra hotel night and allows you to attend sacrament meeting and spend more time seeing London with Peter Fagg, our LDS guide. After the pre-cruise tour, sail with Jennifer and Don as they enlighten and uplift our group with their informative lectures on sea days.
Join our optional private tours at each of the ports to make the most of this incredible journey. In Edinburgh travel the Royal Mile from Holyroodhouse to the Edinburgh Castle and see Arthur’s Seat where Orson Pratt dedicated Scotland for the preaching of the Gospel in 1840. Check out the incredible architecture, museums, and galleries in historic Liverpool, the embarkation point for many Saints sailing to Zion between 1840 and 1860. Kiss the Blarney Stone in Cork. Visit the sobering sites of Normandy. Savor onboard evening shows, endless gourmet delights, and private lectures from Jennifer and Don with our adventurous LDS group, as we create memories to last a lifetime.
