Tips
Several of you have asked about the tipping for the bus driver and guide. This is done at the end of each leg the tour (anytime during the last day per bus driver).
Driver: A tip is required for the driver and we recommend the amount of $30 per person for the tour
• LDS Guide: This tip is not required; but it is appreciated. If you feel they did a good job and would like to thank them, this is the perfect way to do so.
Payment Schedule
  • $250 per person due at time of booking
  • Final Payment: Final payment is due three months before the tour departure date.

          Bountiful Travel recommends the purchase of travel insurance to help avoid loss of your travel expenses due to cancellations.
If Bountiful Travel cancels the tour: We will refund all deposits and any other payments unless the tour is canceled due to a pandemic or civil unrest.
If Bountiful Travel cancels due to a pandemic or civil unrest: The deposit is non-refundable. However, the deposit is transferable to a future tour. The balance will be refunded.
If guest cancels for any reason – The following terms apply

IMPORTANT NOTE: Due to the nature of this tour you must be able to climb stairs and walk unassisted at a moderate pace 3-5 miles per day. No walking aids are allowed (wheel chairs, rollators, scooters, etc.).

Itinerary

Day 1 : Fly to Las Vegas, NV - Arrival Day

September 24, 2027 (Friday)

You will depart this morning for Las Vegas, NV. Plan to arrive at the Las Vegas, NV  well before 2:00 pm. A charter bus will pick up guests and their luggage at the airport at 3:00 pm. Then we will make the drive from NV to St. George, UT and arrive at our hotel for a meet and greet dinner with the tour leader.  Guests may attend the St. George Temple on their own this evening.  Hotel: Hyatt Place Hotel/ St. George

Day 2 : St. George Visitor's Center/ Snow Canyon/ Tuacahn Theater

September 25, 2027 (Saturday)

We will spend the day seeing the sites in St. George, Utah. Our stops include the St. George Visitors Center and Tabernacle, St. George old downtown, Snow Canyon, and Veyo, Utah for handmade pies. In the evening, we will attend the acclaimed Tuacahn Theater for a musical play. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner- Veyo, Utah. Hotel: Hyatt Place Hotel/ St. George

Day 3 : Pine Valley Ward & St. George LDS Sites

September 26, 2027 (Sunday)

We will begin the day by attending sacrament meeting at the historic Pine Valley ward. We will then travel to Temple Quarry hike, a short 1.2 mile RT hike to see where the pioneers quarried the stones for the temple.  Next, we will tour Brigham Young's Winter home and Jacob Hamblin's home in Santa Clara, UT.  We will then return to  a new hotel. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner. Hotel: Best Western/La Verkin, UT

Day 4 : Zion National Park

September 27, 2027 (Monday)

oday we  head  out to spend the day in the amazing Zion's National Park. We will arrive early at the Park, then guests will be on their own to take shuttles and see beautiful vistas and take hikes, if they like.  If hiking isn't your thing, there is much to do at the Zion Park Visitors Center and there is a Tram, for a fee, to see the landscape. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner at a group. Hotel : Best Western/La Verkin, UT

Day 5 : Bryce Canyon National Park

September 28, 2027 (Tuesday)

nother epic day visiting Utah's beautiful scenary and landscapes in the desert.  Today we will enter Bryce Canyon National Park as a group on the bus and tour together, making stops along the way. At the end of  the day, we will head for a rip roaring time to a cowboy dinner theater. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner, Ebenezer's Barn and Grill. Hotel: Springhill Marriott/Cedar City, UT

Day 6 : BYU Campus/Provo, UT

September 29, 2027 (Wednesday)

This morning we will have a long drive from Cedar City, UT to Provo, UT.  Our first stop is to the acclaimed Moon's Rare Books.  This is a bucket list location and we will have a private tour and lecture showing original Book of Mormon's, King James Bibles, original scriptures from Spencer W. Kimball with his handwritten notes inside and more.  You will be talking about this tour for years.  Then we will have a private campus tour of BYU. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner. Hotel : Hyatt Place/Gateway- Salt Lake City

Day 7 : Salt Lake City Church Sites

September 30, 2027 (Thursday)

You won't want to miss "This is the Place" heritage site, which is a living historic village.  The monument where Brigham Young said "This is the Place" is here.  Our guests will have time to visit actual pioneer homes that have been moved from various places in Utah. There is also a train to take you to each site while you visit working shops, barns with animals, and even a ship showing how the pioneers crossed the Atlantic.   After lunch on your own at City Creek Mall, we will visit the Church Genealogy library and Church Art Museum for a private tour. Meals : Breakfast, Dinner.  Hotel: Hyatt Place/Gateway- Salt Lake City

Day 8 : Salt Lake Temple Open House Tour & Tabernacle tour

October 1, 2027 (Friday)

Our day begins with what our guests have been waiting for- a tour of the newly renovated Salt Lake Temple.  After our tour we will have a tour have Temple Square and the Tabernacle. After lunch on your own, we will meet at the Beehive House for a tour. Our journey together will end at the Joseph Smith Memorial Building for a tour and dinner together with a special guest speaker.  After our goodbyes, the bus will take you back to the hotel. Day 9 : Salt Lake Airport - Fly Home

October 2, 2027 (Saturday)

Headliners

New
John was born and raised in Salt Lake City, and he served his mission in the Philippines. Following his mission he attended the University of Utah, and later graduated from BYU. John is the co-host of the Follow Him podcast with Hank Smith. John has taught the Book of Mormon and the New Testament at Brigham Young University, and the BYU Salt Lake Center since 1996. In 2003, he earned a Master’s Degree in Religious Education. He is the author of more than two dozen books and CDs many of which, he says, are effective non-prescription sleep-aids. He loves to golf, write, read, and play the banjo and guitar. John is a founding member of the local chapter of the Andy Griffith Show Re-run Watchers Club, and does a spot-on impersonation of Deputy Sheriff Barney Fife. John has served as a bishop, and was recently released as a member of the Young Men’s General Advisory Council (formerly known as the General Board). John and Kim’s children have served missions in France, Iceland, Tahiti and West Virginia, and another son is currently serving in Uruguay.
