Join us for a pre-cruise tour of Boston, Lexington and Concord. This tour includes a 2-night hotel stay and transfer to the cruise ship. $695 per person, if paying by check. (based on double occupancy)

Day 3 : Charlottetown, Prince Edward Island

October 15, 2023 (Sunday)

We explore as much of Prince Edward Island as we can. We walk the streets of Charlottetown and learn of her history. We see mussel and oyster farms as we journey to Prince Edward Island National Park where we enjoy a short stop at the beach. We visit Cavendish and the Green Gable Heritage Place which includes the home that is the setting for the famous Anne of Green Gables novels. If time permits we will have some time to shop at the PEI Preserve company. $120 per person, if paying by check.

Day 4 : Sydney, NS

October 16, 2023 (Monday)

Today's explorations include the scenic and fascinating Alexander Graham Bell Historic Site. Here we learn of the many experiments and achievements of Alexander Graham Bell. You will see his home, but it is not a part of the actual site. The focus of this site is his exploits while living in the village of Baddeck. The beautiful scenery inspires us as we eat a delicious lunch before taking a scenic, 1-hour drive to visit a Highland Village. Experience the old ways as we explore this living history museum. We will wish we had more time to spend here as all too soon we board our bus for the drive back to your ship. $172 per person, if paying by check. Lunch is included.

Day 5 : Halifax, NS

October 17, 2023 (Tuesday)

Halifax has a rich history and we learn much as we tour this city. We admire the Public Garden, drive around the Citadel Fortress, pass historic homes and stop at the Titanic Cemetery. This cemetery is the final resting place for many of those who lost their lives on the Titanic. We stop for lunch in a quaint fishing village and enjoy lobster rolls or seafood chowder on our own. New we have a brief visit to the Acadian Maple Factory. A visit to Halifax is not complete without a trip to the fishing village of Peggy's Cove. You feel the sea breeze as you stroll along the picturesque sidewalks and examine the lighthouse. Take a seat on the benches and enjoy the view. $169 per person, if paying by check.

Day 6 : Portland, ME

October 18, 2023 (Wednesday)

Embark on a tour highlighting the history and interesting features of Portland, Maine. We visit perhaps the most photographed lighthouse in the world, the Portland Head Light. Stroll along the coastal paths and enjoy the wonderful scenery of Fort Williams Park. We go to Kennebunk and see the homes of Kennebunkport including a glimpse of former President Bush's beautiful home. We have time on our own to have lunch and explore the shops of Kennebunk. Our return drive to the ship is filled with Maine's natural beauty. $140 per person, if paying by check.

Day 7 : Bar Harbor, MA

October 19, 2023 (Thursday)

Acadia National Park is a very short drive from Bar Harbor cruise port. We hop aboard and begin our tour of Acadia national Park. We enjoy the incredible granite coastline and the amazing flora and fauna. We stop several times at places such as Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond and Cadillac Mountain. The tour is 2.5-3 hours long and takes you to beautiful locations. It will be hard to board your cruise ship for the sail back to Boston harbor. $149 per person, if paying by check.

ROBERT L. MILLET is Professor Emeritus of Ancient Scripture at Brigham Young University. He joined the BYU Religion faculty in 1983 and retired from teaching at BYU in January 2014. He is the former Dean of Religious Education at BYU and has also served as the Richard L. Evans Professor of Religious Understanding. Since 1997 he has been involved in interfaith work in an effort to build understanding and relationships with other faiths. He has been involved in academic dialogues with Evangelical Christians, the Church of the Nazarene, and the Community of Christ (formerly Reorganized Church). He is a Distinguished Scholar with the John A. Widtsoe Foundation and is involved in a dialogue with Christian scholars held at the University of Southern California. He is the author or editor of more than 70 books and 200 articles, dealing mostly with the doctrine and history of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and its relationship to other faiths. Some of his most recent books include The Holy Spirit: His Identity, Mission, and Ministry; Beyond the Grave: Christian Interfaith Perspectives; The Atoning One; Whatever Happened to Faith?; and, Precept Upon Precept: Joseph Smith and the Restoration of Doctrine. Brother Millet and his wife Shauna are the parents of six children and reside in Orem, Utah.
