Join Stephen Ricks and Dave Hadlock on an exotic Western Caribbean Cruise. Experience an education week at sea and watch as the scriptures come to life through the instruction that takes place on the boat and on shore. Stephen and Dave will instruct on the Book of Mormon and Bible and their correlations, both geographical and theological to the areas we will be visiting.  This Book of Mormon Cruise will allow us to see Maya ruins from the ports of Belize City, Costa Maya and Cozumel. In addition, the always fun Stingray City will be an adventurous stop at Grand Cayman. See the amazing ruins of Lamanai after speed-boating down the New River in Belize. Discover the beautiful and peaceful setting of Tulum at the port of Cozumel. Don’t miss this opportunity to travel with the Stephen Ricks and Dave Hadlock. This is a fun ship with a great itinerary and an experience not to be missed.

Carnival Legend: carnival-legend.jpgThe Legend is one of my favorite Carnival ships. While many of Carnival’s fleet have a strong “Las Vegas” feel to them, I think the Legend is one of the more toned-down ships in their fleet. 80 percent of her staterooms featuring ocean views and 80 percent of those with private balconies, they’re sure to be seven of the most fun-filled days of your life. With all the delicious dining, wide variety of onboard activities and duty-free shopping, this “Fun Ship” has already become a Legend in its own time.

Shore Excursions

stingray-3.jpgStingRay City: Swim with the stingrays on this exciting shore excursion. The boat will take us to a huge sandbar where stingrays come to feed. You will be given the opportunity to feed the stingrays chopped octopus and hold them if you like. After swimming with the stingrays, the boat will take us to a reef for snorkeling ($65 — $5 cash discount).

lamanai_high_temple_sml.jpgLamanai Ruins: Take an exciting speedboat ride down the New River to get to the amazing Maya ruins of Lamanai. These ruins date back to the Book of Mormon time period. Climb the huge temples, search for howler monkeys or just enjoy the beautiful jungle setting ($115 - $5 cash discount).

tulum.jpgTulum Ruins: From Cozumel see one of the most famous and beautiful of the Maya sites. Tulum sits atop a cliff overlooking the ocean–the setting is surreal. This excursion will allow for some free time to shop or swim in the ocean at the bottom of the ruins ($110 — $5 cash discount).

All Shore Excursions are optional and may be purchased separate from the cruise rate.

He has conducted many cruises and tours through Mexico and the proposed Book of Mormon lands. He has taught many years of gospel doctrine and has taught institute classes. He is a board member of the Book of Mormon Archaeological Forumstephen-ricks.jpgStephen Ricks: Stephen D.
