Join Donald Parry, Ryan Williams and Dave Hadlock on the ultimate Book of Mormon Cruise. This is an education week on location among the proposed lands of the Book of Mormon. Stops on this itinerary include Guatemala, Belize and Mexico. This itinerary will allow you to visit some of the most amazing ruins that can be seen from a cruise itinerary, including Quirigua, Lamanai, Tulum, and Kohunlich. View the majestic river of Rio Dulce in Guatemala. Speed down the New River in Belize on your way to Lamanai. See the peaceful and beautiful settings of Tulum and Kohunlich. With 10 hours in every port and small group sizes, we’ll have plenty of time to explore the lands we’ll be visiting. Donald, Dave and Ryan will help bring the scriptures to life as they teach onboard the ship and at the ruins. This is an educational adventure not to be missed.

Shore Excursions

rio-dulce.jpgQuirigua and the Rio Dulce: This side-tour will take you on a two hour trip down the Rio Dulce. This amazingly scenic trip also gives you a feel for the culture of the locals that live along the river banks. After the river trip, see the amazing Maya Stelae at the ruins of Quirigua. Our LDS guide will instruct us on the history of this site and people ($115 — $5 cash discount).

kohunlich-mask.jpgKohunlich Ruins: This side-tour from the port of Costa Maya will allow you to enjoy the peaceful site of Kohunlich. You will enjoy the jungle setting of Kohunlich. This site is a late Book of Mormon time site. Climb to the top of ruins, enjoy the temple of masks and see a Maya ballcourt. Learn how the structures and rituals relate to the Book of Mormon and LDS beliefs ($105 — $5 cash discount).

lamanai_high_temple_sml.jpgLamanai Ruins: Take an exciting speedboat ride down the New River to get to the amazing Maya ruins of Lamanai. These ruins date back to the Book of Mormon time period. Climb the huge temples, search for howler monkeys or just enjoy the beautiful jungle setting ($115 - $5 cash discount).

tulum.jpgTulum Ruins: From Cozumel see one of the most famous and beautiful of the Maya sites. Tulum sits atop a cliff overlooking the ocean–the setting is surreal. This excursion will allow for some free time to shop or swim in the ocean at the bottom of the ruins ($105 - $5 cash discount).

All Shore Excursions are optional and may be purchased separate from the cruise rate.
