ms-norwegian-spirit.jpgNorwegian Star: The Star is a very nice, NCL ship. It has a good family environment with plenty of activities. The freestyle dining works out good for our groups since many days we arrive late from our shore excursions. Built in 2001, this is one of my favorit NCL ships and is in very good condition.

Shore Excursions: We offer great excursions for a great price!

Roatan Island Tour: This will be a relaxing day to tour the beautiful island of Roatan. We will take brief tour of the island, including a visit to an iguana farm, where you’ll be able to feed the iguanas if you’d like. From there, we will go to a beautiful beach where we’ll have a delicious Caribbean lunch provided on the beach. Snorkel gear is included for those who would like to snorkel.  Following some free time on the beach, we will return to the ship. ($60 – $5 cash discount). Add a zipline adventure for $45. The 13-platform zipline is just 5 minutes from the beach. The adventurous will head off to the zipline for a thrilling adventure.

lamanai_high_temple_sml.jpgLamanai Ruins: Take an exciting speedboat ride down the New River to get to the amazing Maya ruins of Lamanai. These ruins date back to the Book of Mormon time period. Climb the huge temples, search for howler monkeys or just enjoy the beautiful jungle setting. Everybody loves this tour. If you are going into Belize, you have to go to Lamanai. Great ruins, adventurous boating, wildlife, a fantastic Belizean lunch and fun guides. If you are going to Belize, Lamanai is a must-see! ($115 – $5 Cash Discount).

tulum.jpgTulum Ruins: From Cozumel see one of the most famous and beautiful of the Maya sites. Tulum sits atop a cliff overlooking the ocean–the setting is surreal. This site post-dates the Book of Mormon; however, it is well restored and will give you a good idea how those civilizations with whom the Nephites interacted probably lived. This excursion will allow for some free time to shop or swim in the ocean at the bottom of the ruins ($110 — $5 Cash Discount).

chacchoben_tourChacchoben Ruins: This side-tour from the port of Costa Maya will allow you to enjoy the peaceful site of Chacchoben. You will enjoy the jungle setting of Chacchoben and its majestic ruins. This site is a late Book of Mormon time site. Learn how the structures and rituals of the Maya relate to the Book of Mormon and LDS beliefs. In addition to the ruins, we have included an awesome Maya experience. From the ruins, we will head to a little village where we will have a “Maya Experience” with authentic Maya lunch. See how the Maya cook and live. If there is still time, we will go to the beach for some free time and shopping. Past guests are raving about the addition of the Maya Experience.  ($105 — $5 cash discount).

All Shore Excursions are optional and may be purchased separate from the cruise rate.
